FIRST AID & BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING FOR NEWLY HIRED EMPLOYEES
The Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur in coordination with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office & Provincial Human Resource Managemement Office conducted the second leg of First Aid & Basic Life Support Training for Newly Hired Employees last November 14-16, 2022 at Alameda Farm, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. The participants were given the theoretical knowledge and were made to apply it through return demonstration. Simulated activities were also given wherein emergency situations were assigned per group, and they were rated based on how they respond to it using the learnings they earned from the discussion.
The significance of this training focused on helping and sustaining life until more precise medical treatment can begin. It is also one of the missions of the agency to equip the employees to become resilient and responsive to emergencies and disasters.
